I truly hope I live long enough to finish reading them all. Every book continues the story from the last, but adds several side stories that draws the reader in even more. Love this unique author.

Stern For those of us who grew up with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, The Lone Ranger, and enjoy all those Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns, we can get our fix of the ole wild west in the audio drama format now, too. POWDER RIVER is written in the style of the 1940s and '50s radio drama, where a central ensemble of characters carry on surviving what life in a frontier town throws at them. The series is set in Clearmont, Wyoming near Fort Sheridan, at a time when American Indians were being "resettled" from one reservation to another and the railroad was being built, and law and order were yet fully established so there is plenty of action to be had here. One of the things that I like about Powder River, is that it is "family friendly," with language and situations appropriate for children to listen to with parents. For a good old shoot 'em up western, I highly recommend the POWDER RIVER series of audio dramas... especially great in the car!

This desire has its roots in the past - a past which remains obscure to him when he became a vampire. He also wants to die. It is a dilemma that vampires like Jorge who were turned willingly do not have nor even consider.From the get-go, the reader learns about Dane's quandary. His internal monologues are poignant as he ponders his existence. He is quite an endearing fellow and I liked how the author presented and developed his persona. Jorge, on the other hand, is Dane's opposite. He thrives more in the shadows and has no qualms being a vampire. Older and more experienced, he understands all too well what Dane is facing. Only one thing is common between them - the deep attraction they have for each other. However, this becomes another predicament as Dane's human birthday approaches. Will Dane still choose to die now that he has finally found Jorge?How this issue was resolved in the end was so simple and logical that it was just one of the many ideas in the book that I found interesting and fresh and I enjoyed reading about.Author Lissa Matthews did a great job with her story. The writing was excellent, the pacing was steady, the worldbuilding was just right and the plot kept me reading until I was done in less than an hour!The book may have been short in length but it was nonetheless packed with goodness from cover to cover.*received a copy for review

I love the twist she puts on the traditional vampire lore. I admit I am a sucker for MM books in general as well, so getting a MM vamp story? I was giddy in anticipation before I turned the first page! This author did not disappoint me either. Steamy hot sex scenes. Tender sweet romantic moments. The perfect twist at the end. Just enough hints and innuendos that this could easily become a series. As an independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock, I give a full five fangs for this awesome short story!!

She takes what could be an old trope and really spins it into something special. This m/m vampire tale is such an example. Vampires are moody creatures-as they should be. Watching everything around you die? Not so much fun. But what happens when someone challenges that? You have a great conflict. Awesome read and great addition to the Wicked collection.

About the Author When I'm not writing I like going to concerts. Music is a big part of my life, I've played bass guitar since I was a teen. I love nature and enjoy hiking and working with causes that help protect our planet and wild animals. I have loved books all of my life and have always enjoyed escaping the ordinary world by getting lost in a good book. I read a lot of different genres of books but have fallen in love with MM. I support the gay community and hope one day people will see that love is love and that it is a beautiful thing no matter your gender, race or religion. Joshua and his story have been in my head for years but I never took the time to write it. With encouragement from some fellow authors and friends I took the leap and now all of you can get to know my characters and I hope you love them as much as I do.

I loved Loving Joshua, the first book, when Joshua and his best friend left home together and landed jobs in the porn industry. I was so happy there was a book 2 to follow up on their lives together. The first book is about how Joshua and Max found love and continued their tight relationship. You have to envy the friendship between them. It’s unbreakable. This is a friendship we would all love to have. The book was well written. The characters were well-defined in both books.Keeping Joshua, book 2, gives us a glimpse of Joshua and Michael’s life as a married couple. They had some issues that were hard for Joshua to deal with. This leads Joshua to his friend Max to lean on for support. Of course Max and Sam help Joshua and Michael.The hard times between Joshua and Michael helped build their relationship and make it a stronger one that will last for many years. Some other characters come into play from book 1.Joshua will always protect his Max who I fell in love with. It was nice to see Max step and help his friend when he was in need. They have a healthy exchange.Michael grew in this relationship as well. He sometime overworks to keep himself safe emotionally, but their misunderstanding made Michael see how much he truly loves Joshua and that he’s going to be there with him in long haul.And before I forget, this book had some amazingly hot scenes. You have to read it to enjoy it.I was so happy to learn there will be a book 3 in the Joshua Series and another one with an offshoot about some characters from book 1. Excellent job on your characters. Such lovable characters. All four characters are dear to my heart. (Joshua, Michael, Max and Sam.) I recommend this book if you love M/M romance. Lots of hot scenes.

When they both found their partners, Michael and Sam, I was completely smitten with them as well. Add their close friends Kyle and Christopher, and guess what? Yep, crazy about them too. That's exactly why this series appeals to me so much. All the characters are warm, loving, impish, funny, endearing, loyal, hot and so down to earth that I feel like I could meet any one of them on the street and start a conversation with them.Keeping Joshua continues the with a troubled relationship brewing between Joshua and Michael. Michael has expanded his business from not only film, but to an online magazine and eventually a printed circulation. With all this going on, Joshua is also very much in demand as a model. Enter Layne, their gorgeous neighbor from a few homes away who also models with Joshua and it's a perfect recipe for disaster. Unfortunately, we sometimes take for granted the people who are most dear to our heart and the only way we realize it is when we've pushed them away and they're gone. Love how Max is there to support and fix his crumbling friend. He is quite possibly the most adorable character that I've ever read in any book.Michael and Joshua get their happy ending. As a matter of fact, it's a REALLY happy ending! How could they not? This isn't a deep, dark story. This is a light, feel good series and such a breath of fresh air to read. Grein Murray did a great job continuing their story with the perfect balance of love, lust, angst and friendship with her great cast of characters to add tons of fun along the way. I definitely recommend this series!

So often you get excited about a series only to lose it when book 2 doesn't carry the weight of book one, Grein keeps things fresh for this book and it is awesome!Joshua is settling in to life with Michael, but career opps for them both, (modeling for Joshua, a new magazine for Michael ) threaten to drive them apart, especially when Joshua makes a new friend in fellow model Layne and starts hanging out with him more and more as Michael throws himself into work.Both men are jealous and hurt, but can they talk things out before things implode, and if they do, will these two have the communication skills to work it out? Or will these men let go of the best thing to happen to them both?You will love this book,and you will be biting your nails, and holding your breath just like I was, but you will enjoy this book so much, trust me! Thanks Grein, for a book 2 that is just as special as a perfect book 1!! I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

By AngelWTattoos This story was really fun to read and yet had a good many serious parts that kept it from being campy or cliched.We first meet Jason Sinclair as he arrives at his old homeplace after 4 years away. He is coming out of a 2 year relationship and he knows deep within himself that the failure was his fault. His complicated past with his mother is brought into the story and it is immediately obvious that he has really heavy baggage when it comes to her, who by the way, is dying from the advanced stages of cancer. He has come home due to that reason, knowing she is dying and that the home and land will be his to do with what he wants, but he is very divided as to how he feels about that or how he needs to handle what is, in effect, his and his mother's last days together. Since he has no real good memories from the past with his mom, his struggle is very real.Very quickly, Adam Trent, the groundskeeper for the Sinclair's 8 acres, meets up with Jason, reminding him that they knew each other when they were young children, even alluding to a bad experience having to do with one of them biting the other and leaving a permanent scar. He has a very sunny personality and is simply irresistible as he charms everyone he knows, leaving Jason even more withdrawn due to his inability to successfully feel genuine emotions. The chemistry between the two men is evident and very appealing to read about, developing naturally along the way.I could go on and on, but I do not want to tell the story HERE, and besides, there are a few really surprising twists and turns with characters that are introduced very well by the author. I hope that you enjoy this story as much as I did. It is well worth the price and the time to read it.

Coming Home Shouldn't Be So Difficult By Catherine Clontz Jason Sinclair is a 21-year-old emotionally stunted writer returning home after four years, despite his own misgivings, because his mother is dying. They have had an estranged relationship and he doesn’t really want to be there, but his beloved nearly-mother, housekeeper Belinda, needs Jason’s support.Adam Trent is the delicious new groundskeeper, grandson to the now-retired groundskeeper that Jason remembers. What he doesn’t remember is having met the handsome man before, but the bite scar on Adam’s throat from then six-year-old Jason is something that everyone around him certainly remembers.Jason and Adam have an instant attraction, only slightly tempered by Adam’s friendship with Jason’s mother, but while they work their way through relationship beginnings, someone else is out to ensure that Jason doesn’t want to keep or stick around the family home after his mother passes and the house becomes his. Bombarded with some friendly and some not-so-friendly offers to buy while she's still living there, making for a rather morbid situation, Jason has to make a decision and then live through the consequences of it.A solid 4.5 stars! Smooth writing combined with flawed and therefore more believable characters means that this is a book worth reading. If you’re considering it, I highly recommend you give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed!

Wynne, and it definitely won't be my last. They are well written and I enjoy her writing style.This story is about a son who, after many years away and no desire to return, comes home because his mother is terminally ill. A mother whom he has always had a strained and tumultuous relationship with but whom wishes to makes amends with him.Apparently Jason's property is a hot commodity that may people would like to buy, but Jason isn't sure he wants to sell. With people knowing he will inherit it soon they begin to show up to try and stake their claim. Thus the controversy begins and the mystery evolves...When he arrives home there is a new groundskeeper, Adam. They develop a strong connection, and he help Jason open up emotionally, repair his relationship with his mother, and provides support when "weird" things start happening...The characters, Jason and Adam have great chemistry...the pacing of their relationship development was good, and their banter was entertaining.There is a good balance between the romance, reconnection with the mother, and a good mystery. There wasn't a ton of sex but lots of intimacy. Their interactions were touching, and it was lovely to see Jason allowing himself to be loved and show love.Overall I really enjoyed the book and wouldn't hesitate to pick up another SC Wynne read.

About the Author Luigi Pirandello (Agrigento, 28 giugno 1867 – Roma, 10 dicembre 1936) è stato un drammaturgo, scrittore e poeta italiano, insignito del Premio Nobel per la letteratura nel 1934. « Io son figlio del Caos; e non allegoricamente, ma in giusta realtà, perché son nato in una nostra campagna, che trovasi presso ad un intricato bosco denominato, in forma dialettale, Càvusu dagli abitanti di Girgenti, corruzione dialettale del genuino e antico vocabolo greco "Kaos". » (Luigi Pirandello) Pirandello, figlio di Stefano e Caterina Ricci-Gramitto, appartenenti a famiglie di agiata condizione borghese, dalle tradizioni risorgimentali, nacque nel 1867 in contrada Càvusu a Girgenti (Agrigento). Nell'imminenza del parto che doveva avvenire a Porto Empedocle, per un'epidemia di colera che stava colpendo la Sicilia, il padre Stefano aveva deciso di trasferire la famiglia in un'isolata tenuta di campagna per evitare il contatto con la pestilenza. Porto Empedocle, prima di chiamarsi così, era una borgata (Borgata Molo) di Girgenti (l'odierna Agrigento). Quando nel 1853 si decise che la borgata divenisse comune autonomo «La linea di confine fra i due comuni venne fissata all'altezza della foce di un fiume essiccato che tagliava in due la contrada chiamata "u Càvuso" o "u Càusu" (pantaloni) Questo Càvuso apparteneva metà al nuovo comune di Porto Empedocle e l'altra metà al Comune di Girgenti. A qualche impiegato dell'ufficio anagrafe parse che non era cosa [che si scrivesse che qualcuno fosse nato in un paio di pantaloni] e cangiò quel volgare "Càusu" in "Caos"». Il padre, Stefano Pirandello, aveva partecipato tra il 1860 e il 1862 alle imprese garibaldine; aveva sposato nel 1863 Caterina, sorella di un suo commilitone, Rocco Ricci Gramitto. Il nonno materno di Luigi, Giovanni Ricci Gramitto, era stato tra gli esponenti di spicco della rivoluzione siciliana del 1848-49 ed escluso dall'amnistia al ritorno del Borbone era fuggito in esilio a Malta dove era morto un anno dopo, nel 1850, a soli 46 anni. Il nonno paterno, Andrea, era stato un armatore e ricco uomo d'affari di Pra', ora quartiere di Genova. La famiglia di Pirandello viveva in una situazione economica agiata, grazie al commercio e all'estrazione dello zolfo.

Classico - By Ferro Marco Il racconto si svolge in un teatro ed è la storia di 6 personaggi che per "vivere" lottano contro il capocomico per vedere rappresentato il loro dramma che nessun autore ha voluto scrivere.Racconto piacevole e interessante soprattutto la contrapposizione dei personaggi stessi con gli attori che dovrebbero rappresentarli.

Please, someone tell me when the next book comes out. I so need to know what happens next with Nox and his gang.First, this series really needs to be read in order. But seriously, you won't regret it. It's amazing.WHO KNOWS THE DARK started right where the first book left off. Nox and his son, Sam, escaped New York, along with Cade, Mason, Rachel, and Damian. They were headed to South Carolina to stay with Cade's family farm to try and hide from the mess they found themselves in.Even though they escaped the drug lords and police that were after them, all is not well. Sam was seriously injured, Nox had some major trust issues with... everybody, and they really had no idea what they're going to do once they reach the farm. Will they be safe? Will they only bring the danger to Cade's family? Can anyone they brought along be trusted?There are so many secrets and questions, twists and turns, all mixed in with emotions running on high. Things got much more serious between Cade and Nox. They started to realize that there's more to what's between them than just sex. No matter how hot and raw their sex was, they started to rely on each other in ways they weren't ready for. They didn't like it, not one bit. I can only hope for more progress in the relationship department in the next book. Maybe even those three little words? A girl can dream. I seriously love these guys. Even when they're being stubborn fools.All that emotional stuff, and Nox also had to deal with his past and the lies he's told. Things caught up to him and now he's gotta face the music and his son. It was heartbreaking, to say the least.I really loved it all. The action, the secrets, the romance, the awesome cast of characters. Not to mention the sweet and adorable secondary romance between Mason and Sam. Gah! I just want to squish them.Tere Michaels really hit it out of the park with this one. Like I said, start with the first book and then get ready for a crazy ride.So... about book 3? Anyone?

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Nox isn’t happy and it’s all making Cade unhappy By It's About The Book Nox, Sam, and Cade and their travel companions aren’t yet safe. Sam is getting sicker by the minute and being doted on by his almost boyfriend. Nox isn’t happy and it’s all making Cade unhappy. So, an unhappy Cade shows up at his family farm with his ragtag band of fugitives and has to deal with the family he left. It’s all… uncomfortable. Nox settles in to try to solve the puzzle of who is behind the drugs in the District. There are layers upon layers of people and phony organizations to sort through. Once law enforcement shows up they all know it’s time to leave the Creel farm, but there is some serious emotional upheaval before they all leave. Nox makes his way back to the District, that’s where things start to go wrong.I have to confess I was really confused about what was happening in the beginning. It would be good to go over the previous book before reading this. This book still has plenty of immediate danger, but there is more time for the characters to think and reflect on the course of their life and their current troubles. Cade in particular spends a lot of time dwelling on his life choices and wondering if he’s ever made a good one. Consequently, this book felt pretty angsty. There is a whole lot of family drama. Some of it I really didn’t see coming. Nox and Sam need to walk similar paths, and neither man is happy with that. At all.Some mysteries are demystified. Alex is found. Now no one likes him. One mystery was resolved by something way out of left field. I haven’t really processed how I feel about it. Could be an awesome writerly device, or not. I’m reserving judgment and being deliberately vague. Other things still appear nebulous even though I may know all the major players I don’t necessarily see how they fit together.That ending. Damn. It was dark indeed. I really want the next one. Nox and Cade’s relationship is progressing, they’re getting to see the ugliest parts of each other right off. I enjoyed this book, but preferred the more action based first book. Since hairy things are happening that need a resolution I do really want the next one.
